With a vision to turn the disposable into the beautiful, Tembo’s reusable totes are designed to make you look fab and feel good. Our totes are made from 100% cotton, African wax fabric. The "classic" prints  tell the stories of Africa and woman empowerment through their beautiful patterns. Reflecting today's Afro-pop culture, our modern fabrics have been used by top fashion designers and have been featured in museums around the world.

Empowering women, our totes are handmade in Queens, NYC by an immigrant women’s sewing cooperative. The women work from their homes. In doing so, Tembo makes economic opportunity available to them where there was none.
